Gunzapalooza

Dropped by to take a look at Gunzapalooza.
I hadn't been to a gunshow since Punkin Head was still in diapers. Fewer WWII era guns, and more pistols and high tech lightweight rifles, it seemed. Many used pocket knives, too. I suspect that many of them were TSA confiscations from the airport.

Prices are up, too, as many visitors noted. The gunban panic has set in.

Spending value grades

Im not usually impressed with the state government here in Sweet Home, but occasionally in comparison, we do OK.

One of my other favorite nearby states doesnt fare so well according to this article.


We may be poor, but we arent the wastrels some folks are.

Pay The Devil

One of my vices is listening to Van Morrison. I also like some forms of Country Music. This CD is a nice intersection of the two. Its 15 songs, including three originals, make up a good listen. Spousal Unit doesnt think so.

I have been saying much of this since 2000

Conservatives get a lot of blame for things our current administration does. Usually, the criticized actions run counter to conservatism.
