Michael loves Lauren

One of the less interesting things about having a wide front yard on a shortcut around the intersection at the local high school is the large debris field this presents. Mostly it is bottles, paper, food wrappers, beer cans, and trash of all types. Once, I found a cheap but useable pair of binoculars. Today's treasure was a shiny disc.
So, being the music fan, I had to take a closer look. Perhaps it is a real treasure.

Apparently Michael loves Lauren. So much! Probably everyone has been Michael or Lauren at least once. So, we are presented with a mystery. How did the shiny disc come to rest in my front yard? Was Lauren unappreciative of Michael or his taste in music? Was the disc flung in anger or simply left on top of the car, only to blow off at my house? Did Michael have a change of heart about the gift? Was it left there in hopes she would walk by and discover it? I do not know Michael nor Lauren. In any case, I hope Lauren was worthy of Michael's love and that he deserved her.

Perhaps Lauren disc-carded it (ha ha)because there was no music on it, and Michael never paid attention to necessary details. If so, once again most of us have been a Michael.

Maybe Michael himself disc-carded it because he decided that he was coming off too strong with all the lovey-dovey, miss-you talk (and TWO exclamation points, no less). Play it cooler, next time, Michael. I mean, if they're still in the "mixed tape/CD" phase of their relationship, they're certainly not ready for that level of forceful punctuation. Yeesh.
